So, Joe is one of the industry’s “nice guys”. I’ve always liked him. He always took my calls. Always answered questions. And nearly always had a smile on his face. I always got the impression he wasn’t hung up on the whole “who did what” thing in mountain bike. Joe was a roadie, turned mountain biker, turned builder. His Breezer #1 prototype lives in the Smithsonian Museum. His aluminum Breezers (made by ABM) were among the first really good production mountain bikes in aluminum. They were dialed. Now Joe designs Breezer bikes for Advanced Sports International of Philadelphia. Good seeing you Joe!
